This paper represents an analysis of the main Eucharistic celebrations of the Catholic Church from the perspective of ephemeral art, which was created during its development, corresponding to its multidisciplinary nature. The study shows the Maundy Thursday, Corpus Christi, Minerva Processions, consecrations of temples, Forty Hours of Devotions and the celebrations of the relief of the Blessed Sacrament. We begin with an introduction of the meaning of the feast and cult of the Eucharist outside Mass, we will then proceed with the study of the history of each celebration and its origins based on the most prominent cases found. Materials will be taken into considerations, such as decorations and ephemeral architecture. Procession parades, dances and music and the ceremonial and rituals involved will be considered as the immaterial part of the equation. This paper is a glance throughout the conserved sources and by the means of the studies done by those authors about the theme domestically in Spain or internationally.
