La idea de democracia en Roma y su proyección histórico-política .

Abstract

Sin lugar a dudas la democracia es el sistema de gobierno por excelencia . Durante el estudio que he llevado a cabo se anal izará el origen , desarrollo y situación actual de d icho modelo político. El origen de esta democracia se sitúa en Atenas, haciéndose necesario antes de entrar en tiempos roma nos un pequeño anál isis de la democracia existente por aq uel tiem po. Los romanos se l i mitarían a reprod uci r y perfeccionar el concepto de democracia griego, siendo el modelo democrático romano la base fundamental de lo que en este trabajo se desarrolla. Para finalizar y comprender tanto las semejanzas como las diferencias existentes entre la democracia actual y la antigua se lleva a cabo la comparación pertinente.
