(ES) Durante la Baja Edad Media, siglos XIV y XV, los reinos de Europa occidental se vieron
sacudidos por una oleada inusitada de revueltas y conflictos sociales, tanto en el campo como
en la ciudad, en un contexto de grandes calamidades como la Peste Negra o la Guerra de los
Cien Años. El presente trabajo se centrará en estudiar estas revueltas y sus agentes, las clases
populares, analizando sus factores explicativos y buscando situarlos en su contexto histórico
para dar cuenta de su complejidad.
(EN) During the late Middle Ages, the XIV and XV centuries, the kingdoms of western Europe were shaken by an unusual wave of revolts and social conflicts, both in the countryside and in the city, in a context of great calamities such as Black Death or the One Hundred Years War. The present work will focus on studying these revolt and their agents, the popular classes, analyzing their explanatory factors and seeking to place them in their historical context in order to account for their complexity.
