This TFG will analyse two of the most widely used communication protocols such as OPC-UA at industrial level and IoT MQTT, for the exchange of information between devices, regardless of the manufacturer. Therefore, an exhaustive analysis of these protocols will be carried out to identify when it is convenient to use each one of them, the advantages and disadvantages of each one of them. Subsequently, given that in the manufacturing industry the controller par excellence continues to be the Programmable Logic Controller or PLC, an architecture as heterogeneous as possible in terms of manufacturers has to be defined. Finally, some incremental complexity practices are carried out, which are very useful for future students studying an electronic engineering degree specializing in Automatics.
