Análisis aproximativo al tema de feminización de la pobreza.

Abstract

Este trabajo fin de grado tiene como objeto realizar un análisis aproximativo a un concepto relativamente reciente como es el de feminización de la pobreza y mediante dicho análisis profundizar acerca de la base que la fundamenta, causas y raíz de la misma. Se pretende estudiar de qué manera la socialización diferencial, división sexual del trabajo y posterior desigualdad de género existente entre hombres y mujeres, en todos los ámbitos, pero sobre todo en el laboral incide en la pobreza o en el riesgo de sufrirla en función del género. También, investigar el grado de impacto que tiene en el conjunto de la sociedad, si es mayor y en qué medida, en la mitad de la población: las mujeres. En definitiva, la intención es conocer la pobreza desde una perspectiva de género y visibilizar la necesidad de este enfoque para que se trate dicha temática desde una visión más holística.

This final degree project has as purpose to carry out an approximate analysis to a relatively recent concept such as feminization of poverty and through the analysis to deepen about the basis that lie behind, the causes and the root of it. It is intended to study in what way the differential socialization, sexual division of labor and subsequent gender inequality that exists between men and women, in all the scopes, but especially at work affect poverty or the risk of suffering it according to gender. Also, to investigate the extent of impact that it has in the whole society, if it is greater and how in half of the population: women. Ultimately, the aim is to know the poverty from a gender perspective and to make visible the need of this approach to treat this topic from a more holistic view.
