Análisis de calidad del servicio de la biblioteca de la Universidad de Jaén

Abstract

[ES]Las bibliotecas universitarias tienen como objetivo prioritario prestar el apoyo necesario a las actividades de docencia e investigación de la Universidad. Éstas deben ser un lugar confortable y adaptado a las innovaciones en la educación, para transmitir el conocimiento y dar como resultado a unos usuarios bien formados. El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado constituye un estudio exploratorio de la percepción de la calidad del servicio ofrecido por la biblioteca del Campus de las Lagunillas de la Universidad de Jaén. Para cumplir con este objetivo, se ha utilizado la herramienta LibQUAL+. Con la colaboración del laboratorio multidisciplinar SECABA Lab (TIC-186), se ha habilitado una plataforma web para la realización de los cuestionarios online, a partir de los cuales se han podido extraer diversas recomendaciones y sugerencias de mejora respecto a la biblioteca.

[EN]The main objective of The University libraries is to provide the necessary support for teaching activities and the research investigation of The University. These objectives should include a comfortable place to study and should be adapted to include all the necessary and up to date innovations available in education, in order to enable the access of knowledge and consequently result in well-trained users. The present Work for the End of Degree is an exploratory study of the perception of the quality of the service offered by the library of the Lagunillas Campus of the University of Jaén. To fulfil this objective, the LibQUAL+ tool has been used. With the collaboration of the SECABA Lab multi-disciplinary laboratory (TIC-186), a web platform has been created for online questionnaires, from which various recommendations and suggestions for improvement have been made regarding the library.
