[EN] The aim of this study was to examine the extent to which support for the practice of perceived physical activity in parents and peers contributed to predicting sel-concept, academic and non-academic, beyond certain anthropometric characteristics. Two hundred and thirty-six students in the first and second year of compulsory secondary education, 52.7% boys, aged between 12 and 14 years (M = 13.03, SD = .76), participated in this study. The results revealed that support attributed to parents and peers for the practice of physical activity positively predicted the physical dimensión of sef-concept, beyond the incidence of anthropometric variables such as age or body mass index. It is concluded that relationships between support and self-concept are characteristic of specific domains.
