Resumen
[ES] Se diseña una Unidad Hospitalaria, dedicada a la Intervención Asistida con Animales (IAA), en una institución dedicada exclusivamente a pacientes pediátricos. Para ello se realiza un aprovechamiento de los recursos iniciales con los que se dota y se distribuyen los espacios. Se calcula la demanda de uso que tiene el hospital y se utiliza de referencia para el ajuste de medios, con los que deberá contar.
Se estructura el personal necesario para poder llevar a cabo esta empresa y se incorpora en la dinámica y reglamentación del hospital.
Se realiza una valoración de las distintas áreas del hospital con potencial para beneficiarse de las IAA y estos espacios, de acuerdo con las características propias, se les asigna el tipo de IAA que requiere cada uno.
Para cada tipo de Intervención se realizan distintos tipos de programas, según los cuales se establecen mecanismos de registro y valoración. Se integra la programación en el funcionamiento de las diferentes especialidades del hospital, permitiendo una sinergia que beneficie a los usuarios y mejore el aprovechamiento de los recursos del Hospital.
[EN] In the development of this Final Project, a hospital unit dedicated to Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) is designed in an institution exclusively devoted to pediatric patients. This requires the use and exploitation of the initial resources which are provided and the distribution of spaces. The demand of the hospital use is calculated and is used as reference for adjusting the means which we rely on. The necessary staff is structured and incorporated into the dynamics and regulations of the hospital to carry out this undertaking. It is performed an assessment of the different hospital areas with a potential to benefit from the AAI and the various spaces, according to their characteristics, are assigned the required AAI. Different types of programs are devised for each type of intervention, according to which registration and evaluation mechanisms are established. Programming is integrated into the operation of the different hospital specialties, allowing a synergy that benefits users and improves hospital resources.
