(ES)Más allá de nuestra frontera, el español es una de las lenguas más demandadas en el sector educativo.
Este trabajo investiga la perspectiva y desafíos de la enseñanza de español en Chequia. Se comienza
investigando la demografía lingüística del español acercándonos a este país, explorando su política y
planificación lingüística. También se han examinado los antecedentes de la enseñanza que reflejan una
huella en el país. Asimismo, nos hemos centrado en las diferentes etapas del sistema educativo analizando
cada una de ellas y los factores lingüísticos y extralingüísticos que repercuten en la docencia. Además, se
dedica un especial análisis a las Secciones Bilingües cuyo impacto para el español es visible en las
generaciones de hispanistas checos. De este modo, se han identificado aquellas fortalezas y debilidades
latentes en la actualidad que nos reflejan el panorama actual. Finalmente, se proponen unas estrategias
para mejorar la docencia y la difusión del español.
(EN)Beyond our borders, Spanish is one of the most demanded languages in the educational sector. This work investigates the perspective and challenges of teaching Spanish in the Czech Republic. To do this, it begins by researching and analyzing the linguistic demography of Spanish in this country and exploring its language policy and planning. The background of Spanish teaching that reflects a footprint in the country has also been examined. Likewise, we have focused on the different stages of the educational system, analyzing each of them and the linguistic and extralinguistic factors that impact teaching. Furthermore, a special analysis is dedicated to the Bilingual Sections, whose impact on Spanish is visible in generations of Czech Hispanists. In this way, we have identified the strengths and weaknesses currently present, which reflect the current situation. Finally, some strategies are proposed to improve the teaching and dissemination of Spanish in Czech classrooms.
