[EN] In this study we have carried out the identification and spectroscopic characterization of the decorations of seven samples of archaeological ceramics dated back the Neolithic period from the site of Los Castillejos de Montefrío, Granada. For this task, we have used Raman Microscopy (MRS). This technique, due to its non-destructive character, its high spatial resolution and its high specificity, is an ideal tool for the study of heterogeneities in complex matrices and, hence, for pigments in samples of historical-artistic interest. The results obtained reveal the presence of hematite and cinnabar in the red decorations, the presence of calcite in the white fillings and the presence of manganese oxides and carbon in the black decorations. This type of results provide relevant information that will allow solving important archaeological questions related to technological, stylistic and temporal aspects of the samples studied and the culture and period in which they are framed.
