LA IMAGEN DE LAS MUJERES EN EL REGGAETÓN Y SU IMPACTO EN LA ADOLESCENCIA. APORTANDO UNA MIRADA CRÍTICA

Abstract

[ES] El reggaetón se ha popularizado mundialmente, convirtiéndose en el género musical más reproducido, sobre todo, por la población joven. Ante esto, el presente trabajo pretende investigar la manera en la que se representa a las mujeres en las canciones de reggaetón, así como la repercusión que esto puede tener en la adolescencia y su contribución a la normalización de conductas violentas y el fortalecimiento de estereotipos y roles de género. Para ello, la investigación se divide en tres partes diferenciadas; una revisión bibliográfica, un trabajo de campo a través de un cuestionario dirigido a adolescentes con edades comprendidas entre los 12 y los 16 años y, finalmente, una propuesta de intervención que consiste en un taller llamado “Respétame cantando”, mediante el que se pretende aportar herramientas a adolescentes de un instituto para favorecer el desarrollo de una mirada crítica frente a los contenidos machistas y violentos del reggaetón.[EN] Reggaetón has become popular worldwide, becoming the most widely played musical genre, especially by the young population. Given this, the present work aims to investigate the way in which women are represented in reggaetón songs, as well as the repercussion that this can have in the adolescence and its contribution to the normalization of violent behaviors and the strengthening of gender stereotypes and roles. For this, the investigation is divided into three different parts; a bibliographic review, a fieldwork through a questionnaire directed at adolescents, aged between 12 and 16 years and, finally, an intervention proposal which consists of a workshop called "Respect me singing", through which it is intended to provide tools to teenagers from an institute to encourage the development of a critical view of sexist and violent content of reggaeton.
