CHARLIE AND THE HEALTHY FACTORY, A CLIL DIDACTIC PROPOSAL FOR NATURAL SCIENCE IN PRIMARY EDUCATION

Abstract

(ES)La propuesta didáctica se centra en los hábitos saludables. El tema está relacionado con el área de Ciencias Naturales. Para ello, la propuesta didáctica se basa en el enfoque AICLE y en el enfoque basado en tareas. Son métodos de enseñanza en los que los alumnos/as se implican personalmente. Aprenden haciendo. Las actividades por tareas van a ser ricas en lenguaje, involucrando todas las destrezas (lectura, escritura, escucha y habla). Las tareas estarán estrechamente vinculadas a las necesidades reales de los alumnos/as y serán muy motivadoras para ellos y extremadamente útiles. La razón para elegir este tema es que la escuela desempeña un papel importante en la formación de hábitos saludables para toda la vida y así aportar algo novedoso en esta temática.

(EN)The didactic proposal is focused on healthy habits. The topic is related to the area of Natural Sciences. To do so, a didactic proposal is designed, based on CLIL and task-based approach. Those are teaching methods in which students are personally involved. They learn by doing. Tasks activities are going to be rich in language, involving all the skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The tasks will be closely linked to learners’ real needs and they will be highly motivating for learning and extremely useful. The reason why this topic is chosen is that schools play an important role in shaping lifelong healthy habits and something new is proposed in this area.
