Evolución de las femme fatale en el cine desde un punto de vista psicológico

Abstract

El propósito del presente trabajo consiste en el análisis de la evolución de las femme fatale como concepto en el marco del cine negro estadounidense. El punto de partida será establecer el origen del término “femme fatale”, estando éste en la figura bíblica de Lilith. Tras ello, el trabajo se abrirá paso ente distintos personajes mitológicos y literarios con la intención de generar una definición profusa del concepto de “femme fatale”, aspecto que será clave antes de entrar en el ámbito del cine negro, del que se han seleccionado un total de cuatro películas de distintas décadas en las que aparece una “femme fatale”. Se realizará un análisis psicológico e histórico de cada una de estas películas, así como de sus protagonistas femeninas y de la sociedad en las que están insertas, con la intención de vislumbrar la evolución de la “femme fatale” en la cultura cinematográfica norteamericana.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the evolution of the "femme fatale" as a concept in the framework of American film noir. The starting point will be to establish the origin of the term "femme fatale", term present in Lilith as biblical figure. After that, the work will make its way between different mythological and literary characters with the intention of generating a profuse definition of the concept of "femme fatale", an aspect that will be key before entering the field of film noir, from which a total of five films from different decades in which a “femme fatale” appears. A psychological and historical analysis will be carried out on each of these films, as well as on their female protagonists and the society in which they are inserted, with the intention of glimpsing the evolution of the “femme fatale” in North American film culture.
