El uso de los materiales compuestos está presente en diferentes sectores industriales. Conocer el
comportamiento de diferentes uniones fabricadas con este tipo de materiales es de vital importancia para su uso
en la industria. El presente proyecto se basa en el diseño, fabricación y ensayo de una unión tubular reforzada
con stitching y fabricada en fibra de yute y resina epoxi para analizar su comportamiento y verificar su viabilidad
como elemento estructural.
The use of composite materials is present in different industrial sectors. Knowing the behaviour of different joints manufactured with this type of materials is of vital importance for their use in industry. This project is based on the design, manufacture and testing of a tubular joint reinforced with stitching and made of jute fibre and epoxy resin to analyse its behaviour and verify its viability as a structural element.
