[ES]Este estudio examinó las creencias pseudocientíficas y paranormales, así como el conocimiento científico de estudiantes de primer año del grado en educación primaria e infantil. Además, se evaluó la correlación entre las creencias paranormales y pseudocientíficas y el conocimiento científico. Los resultados indicaron que los participantes tenían algunas ideas paranormales y creían, en cierta medida, en la eficacia de disciplinas pseudocientíficas. Se encontró cierta relación entre creencias paranormales y pseudocientíficas y el conocimiento científico.
[EN]This study examined pseudoscientific and paranormal beliefs, as well as scientific knowledge shown by pre-service teachers in their first year of pre-school and primary education studies. In addition, the relationship between paranormal and pseudoscience beliefs and scientific knowledge was assessed. Results indicated that participants held some paranormal ideas and believed at some extent in the efficacy of different pseudo scientific disciplines. There was found some relationship between paranormal and pseudoscientific beliefs and scientific knowledge.
