Resumen
El objetivo del presente estudio fue analizar la asociación entre el nivel de actividad física semanal, la frecuencia
cardíaca y los pasos diarios con la planificación y toma de decisiones, variables del aprendizaje escolar y el
rendimiento académico en niños y adolescentes. La planificación y toma de decisiones se evaluó mediante la Escala
para la Evaluación de la Planificación y Toma de Decisiones, para el aprendizaje escolar el cuestionario de reacción
emocional asociada al aprendizaje y para el rendimiento académico las calificaciones. Los resultados se obtuvieron
teniendo en cuenta la edad y el IMC. Se concluye que los jóvenes que realizan más AF a una intensidad moderada-
vigorosa de forma sistemática favorece en las variables cognitivas y de aprendizaje. Se sugiere aumentar la intensidad
de actividad física de moderada a vigorosa en niños entre los 10-16 años con programas de intervención, realizar al
menos 60 minutos de actividad física diaria.
The aim of the present study was to analyse the association between weekly physical activity level, heart rate and daily steps with planning and decision-making, school learning variables and academic performance in children and adolescents. Planning and decision-making were assessed using the Planning and Decision-Making Assessment Scale, school learning was assessed using the emotional reaction to learning questionnaire and academic performance was assessed using grades. Results were obtained taking into account age and BMI. It is concluded that young people who perform more physical activity at a moderate-vigorous intensity in a systematic way favour cognitive and learning variables. It is suggested to increase the intensity of physical activity from moderate to vigorous in children aged 10-16 years with intervention programmes, performing at least 60 minutes of physical activity daily.
