“Afasia progresiva primaria y sus vinculaciones con el procesamiento del lenguaje”

Abstract

[ES] La Afasia Progresiva Primaria (en adelante APP) afecta a numerosas personas tanto en las relaciones sociales como en los diferentes ámbitos de su vida cotidiana. En este trabajo de investigación se realizó, en primer lugar, una explicación de las características generales de la APP, mencionando sus principios generales, los distintos subtipos, sus afectaciones a nivel del procesamiento del lenguaje, criterios diagnósticos y factores de riesgo. Posteriormente se efectuó una búsqueda exhaustiva de cinco artículos experimentales: dos relacionados con afectaciones en el procesamiento del lenguaje y los restantes se basaron en la puesta en práctica de diferentes intervenciones. Tras haber hecho el análisis, se llevó a cabo una discusión en la que se contrastaron las diferentes intervenciones, comparando los resultados de cada una de ellas. Por último, se comentaron las utilidades en el ámbito de la psicología, los límites encontrados en esta investigación y las posibles líneas de investigación futuras.

[EN] PPA affects many people in their social relationships and in different areas of their daily lives. In this research investigation, first of all, an explanation of the general characteristics of PPA was made, mentioning its general characteristics, the subtypes of PPA, their affectations at the level of language processing, their diagnostic criteria and their risk factors. After explaining all of the above, an exhaustive search of five different experimental articles was made; Two related to language processing problems and the remaining others treated the implementation of different interventions. After the analysis, a discussion was carried out in which the different interventions were contrasted, comparing the results. Finally, the utilities in psychology, the limits found in this research and the possible lines of future research were discussed.
