El absentismo escolar es uno de los principales problemas a los que se enfrentan los centros
educativos en la actualidad, afectando en gran mayoría a los alumnos de etnia gitana,
comprometiendo su desarrollo personal, académico y profesional. Por lo que el absentismo no
sólo es tratado como un problema educativo sino que también es tratado como un problema social.
En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado, se lleva a cabo una investigación sobre el absentismo escolar e
educación primaria y educación secundaria en alumnos de etnia gitana, realizando cuestionarios a
alumnos de los centros IES Himilce e IES Oretania, situados en la Bda. de Los Arrayanes en
Linares, Jaén.
(ES) Access to education is a fundamental right, which is essential for the progress and development of society and also contributes to avoiding marginalization and social exclusión. Truancy is one of the main problems which schools are facing today, mostly affecting to students of gypsy ethnic group, compromising their personal, academic and profesional development. Therefore, truancy is not only treated as an educational problem, it is also treated as a social problem. In this final degree Project, is carried out an investigation about truancy in primary and secondary education on students of gypsy ethnic group, making questionnaires to students of Himilce and Oretania highschools located in Bda. Arrayanes in Linares, Jaén.
