Resumen
[ES] El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster consiste en conocer la realidad de las residencias de personas
mayores ante la pandemia por COVID-19, cómo se ha actuado y los posibles efectos negativos que ha causado en las personas residentes. Principalmente, se centra en la Residencia de Personas Mayores "Edades”, en la que se diseñó un protocolo especifico de prevención de propagación de virus. Tras la revisión de la realidad, se identifica la necesidad de diseñar una herramienta para llevar a cabo intervenciones multidisciplinares, para velar por el bienestar social y el envejecimiento activo ante la pandemia por COVID-19. Así cómo la soledad, el aislamiento y el miedo causado por la pandemia.
[EN] This Final Master’s work consists of finding out about the reality of residence for the elderly people’s in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, how they have acted and the possible negative effects it has had on the residents. Principally, it to focus on the “Edades” residence for the elderly, where a specific protocol was designed to prevent the spread of the virus. After reviewing the reality, the need to design a tool for carry out multidisciplinary interventions to ensure social well- being and active ageing in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic was identified. As well as the loneliness, isolation and fear caused by the pandemic.
