Diseño de investigación sobre el Trabajo Social en casos de Violencia de Género en el Ámbito Sanitario.

Abstract

El presente proyecto de investigación pretende conocer y analizar el trabajo que se realiza por parte de los/las trabajadores/as sociales desde el ámbito sanitario en el abordaje de los casos de violencia de género. Concretamente en el Hospital Médico-Quirúrgico perteneciente al Complejo Hospitalario de Jaén. Además se analizarán los distintos protocolos de actuación sanitaria frente a la violencia de género que existen. Con este trabajo se pretende demostrar la importancia de la necesidad de la figura del/la trabajador/a social dentro de los centros hospitalarios y de atención primaria. No solo para el abordaje de los casos, sino también como formadores en materia de violencia de género de los profesionales que trabajan en el hospital, pudiendo proporcionarles, por un lado, una ampliación de sus conocimientos respecto a la violencia de género, y por otro un aumento del grado de sensibilidad y concienciación respecto a la problemática mencionada.

The current research project is aimed at getting to know and analyzing the work that is performed nom the medical field by social workers in dealing with the gender violence cases. Moreover, the different protocols of healthcare action against gender violence will be studied and analyses. For this reason, this project is aimed at showing the importance of the necessity of the figure of the social workers within the Hospital Complex and health centers. They are needed not only for the approach of the cases, but also as trainers for the employers of the healthcare system with terms of regard to gender violence. In order to provide them, on one hand, with an expansion of knowledge regarding this issue. And, on the other hand, with an increase in the degree of responsiveness and awareness with regard to the issue mentioned previously.
