LA EDUCACIÓN PARA EL DESARROLLO COMO ENFOQUE A SEGUIR EN LA CONCESIÓN DE CONTENIDOS EN LA EDUCACIÓN SECUNDARIA OBLIGATORIA

Resumen
[ES]La creciente globalización hace que la sociedad actual viva en un mundo
interconectado en el que los actos que se desarrollan en un país en concreto
desencadenan sus consecuencias en otro lugar. En este contexto se torna necesario
formar a personas conscientes de dicha realidad, responsables, tolerantes y justas,
cuyos actos no incidan de forma negativa en la vida de otros individuos. Para ello, la
Educación para el Desarrollo se presenta como una herramienta esencial con la que
modelar a una ciudadanía crítica y comprometida que se esfuerce por alcanzar un
progreso individual, pero también comunitario. Si se tiene en cuenta el sistema
educativo como espacio de formación de futuros ciudadanos es vital incluir dicha
herramienta como medio, pero también como objetivo mismo para logar la
configuración de una sociedad igualitaria. Por ello, su implementación en las aulas
debe de ser una meta común a sobrepasar por parte de toda la comunidad educativa.
Para ello es necesario revisar todo lo que se ha realizado en materia pedagógica hasta
el momento y ejecutar un análisis con el que determinar los posibles próximos pasos a
dar.

[EN]The growing globalization makes the current society live in an interconnected world in which the acts that take place in a specific country trigger its consequences in another place. In this context it becomes necessary to make people aware of this reality, responsible, tolerant and fair, whose actions do not negatively affect the lives of other individuals. For this, Education for Development is presented as an essential tool with which to model a critical and committed citizenship that strives to achieve individual, but also community, progress. If the education system is taken into account as a training space for future citizens, it is vital to include this tool as a means, but also as a goal to achieve the configuration of an egalitarian society. Therefore, its implementation in the classroom must be a common goal to be overcome by the entire educational community. For this it is necessary to review everything that has been done in pedagogical matters so far and execute an analysis with which to determine the possible next steps to take.
