At the same time, the prevalence of anxiety, self-esteem problems and depression is increasing and several studies indicate that an abusive use of social media may be a factor that contributes to this symptomatology. Thus, we have considered it vitally important to develop a Psychopedagogical Guidance and Intervention Programme that works on self-esteem, anxiety and social networks from three areas of action: Tutorial Action, Attention to Diversity and Academic and Professional Guidance for students in 2nd and 3rd year of ESO at IES Montes Orientales. The activities will be arranged in sixteen sessions during the first and second trimester of the academic year. The aim is to achieve a healthy use of social networks as well as an adjusted self-esteem and a satisfactory management of anxiety.
