Inclusión de menores inmigrantes y sus familias en los centros educativos

Abstract

Las familias inmigrantes se enfrentan a multitud de impedimentos que emanan de la nueva realidad a la que deben acostumbrarse. Dentro de esos procesos de cambio encontramos el papel del centro educativo. El centro educativo desempeña una función crucial en los procesos de adaptación a través de la inclusión por lo que la organización de los centros educativos, la familia y su entorno así como la interculturalidad en la sociedad serán claves para garantizar la calidad educativa para los menores inmigrantes y sus familias. El presente trabajo muestra la importancia del Centro Educativo en un entorno cambiante, da a conocer las necesidades de los alumnos inmigrantes para conseguir la inclusión educativa e indica por qué es necesario que el trabajo social intervenga con este colectivo y en este ámbito.

The foreign families face many impediments which emanate of the new reality that they should confront. Inside those processes of change we find the education centre´s role. The school executes a relevant function in the processes of adaptation through the inclusión. For this reason the organization of school, the family and its environment, and the culture in the society are the keys to promise the educative quality to foreign childrens and their families. This project shows the importan of the education centre in the society and the needs of foreign students to get the educative inclusion. It project inidicates why is necessary that social work take part with this collective and in this area.
