A total of 4 RCTs were selected. 2 of them demostrated the effectiveness of Gufoni, mastoid oscillation and head shaking in apogeotropic nystagmus. One of them showed that Gufoni and Lempert for geotropic nystagmus have a similar efficacy and another study found that Gufoni is more effective in geotropic nystagmus. There is evidence that canalicular repositioning maneuvers are very effective for the treatment of BPPV, however, in order to lack of evidence is necessary to investigate in the treatment of the horizontal channel.
