CSNc
(EN) Frustration is a negative emotional response arising, among other circumstances, from the unexpected loss of a reinforcer. The most common procedure to induce it and the one used in this end-of-degree project (TFG) is the consummatory successive negative contrast (CSNc), which consists of an animal model where the subjects are habituated to a sucrose solution at 32 % (preshift phase) to later replace it with one at 2% (postshift phase). In the present experiment, 18 Wistar rats divided into three groups (n=6) are used: devalued (32-2), control 32 (32-32) and control 2 (2-2). The behavioral results indicated that only in the devalued group a suppression of consumption of the 2% sucrose solution was induced, also observing only in this experimental group a greater expression of c-fos (a marker of neural activity) in the amygdala, that is supposed to be a structure involved in the CSNc
