El movimiento romántico en España. Lazos de tensión entre el teatro romántico español y la música europea

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo, analizaremos el panorama del entramado cultural y social del Romanticismo español en la música y la literatura, sirviéndonos de sus aspectos más significativos y de las herramientas de literatura comparada. Nos centraremos en los rasgos del genio romántico en los que respecta a la literatura, principalmente en el teatro romántico y sus autores, aunque también haremos referencia a otros géneros decimonónicos. Después de hacer un recorrido centrado en el drama romántico, utilizaremos las características de este para ver los lazos de tensión entre la literatura y la música del romanticismo en España y Europa.

[EN] In this work, we will analyze the panorama of the cultural and social network of Spanish Romanticism in music and literature, using its most significant aspects and the tools of comparative literature. We will focus on the traits of the romantic genius when it comes to literature, mainly in the romantic theatre and its authors, although we will also refer to other nineteenth-century genres. After making a tour focused on the romantic drama, we will use the characteristics of this to see the tension links between literature and the music of Romanticism in Spain and Europe.
