Sharenting: La vida de los y las menores al descubierto. Una revisión sistemática del fenómeno.

Abstract

En los últimos años, el uso de las redes sociales se ha incrementado notablemente, tanto así que las huellas digitales de los niños y niñas se generan cada vez más temprano, incluso antes de nacer, cuando los padres muestran la primera ecografía. Es por esto, que se ha de hablar del fenómeno sharenting, que se refiere a la práctica, por parte de los progenitores, de compartir fotografías e información sobre sus hijos/as en internet. Así, el éxito que tiene este contenido como entretenimiento para el público ha favorecido la comercialización de su imagen para campañas de marketing. A pesar de que esta sobreexposición infantil está socialmente normalizada, diversas fuentes apuntan a que puede conllevar ciertos riesgos, por lo que, en este trabajo se realizará una revisión de la literatura existente para conceptualizar el término sharenting y aunar los resultados de los estudios que se han realizado hasta ahora sobre las posibles consecuencias.

In recent years, the use of social networks has significantly increased, so much so that children's fingerprints generate earlier, even before birth, when parents show the first ultrasound. For that, the sharenting phenomenon must be discussed, which refers to the practice, by parents, of sharing pictures and information about their children on the internet. Thus, the success of this content as entertainment for viewers supports the commercialization of their image for marketing campaigns. Despite the fact that this phenomenon is socially normalized, various sources suggest that it may involve some risks, therefore, in this work, a review of the existing literature will be carried out to conceptualize the term sharenting and to combine the results of the studies about the possible consequences that have been carried out until now.
