[EN] This intervention program aims to develop an Emotional Intelligence (EI) program in areas of urban vulnerability, the objective of which is to improve social skills and reduce behavioral problems in 5-year-old childhood education. In this sense, it has been proven that factors such as social exclusion or conditions of poverty have serious repercussions throughout the development of the individual during childhood. For this reason, EI has emerged as a decisive factor to moderate the socio-affective, emotional and behavioral deficiencies presented by infants in areas of high vulnerability. Therefore, our program has an active methodology that is structured around seven sessions in which the three branches of EI of Mayer and Salovey (1993) are worked on. In this regard, we hope that the experimental group will increase their emotional intelligence, improve their social competence and reduce their behavioral problems. Finally, this program could represent a new line of research in this field.
