Resumen
[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un estudio sobre la importancia de la gestión del patrimonio natural para aportar información contextual al turismo cultural, algo que contribuye también a su conservación.
Se hablará también del patrimonio cultural, indicando sus puntos positivos y los negativos. Además, se realizará un análisis de coyuntura turística de Andalucía y más concretamente de la provincia de Jaén, indagando sobre la evolución de la demanda turística.
En lo que al patrimonio natural se refiere, se hablará de algunas de las estrategias que se están llevando a cabo para su gestión y conservación, así como de los espacios naturales y los nuevos usos del medio rural enfocados al sector turístico.
Para finalizar, se expondrá un ejemplo práctico de una iniciativa para el aprovechamiento de los recursos naturales en el municipio de Jaén, Baños de la Encina.
[EN] The objective of this project is to make a study on the importance of the management of the natural heritage to contribute contextual information to cultural tourism, something that also contributes to its conservation. Cultural heritage will also be discussed, indicating its positive and negative points. In addition, an analysis of the tourism situation in Andalusia and more specifically in the province of Jaén will be carried out, looking into the evolution of the tourist demand. As far as the natural heritage is concerned, we will talk about some of the strategies that are being carried out for its management and conservation, as well as the natural spaces and the new uses of the rural environment focused on the tourist sector. To conclude, a practical example of a development initiative will be presented.
