EL TURISMO COMO FACTOR DE DESARROLLO TERRITORIAL EN EL PARQUE NATURAL SIERRA MÁGINA

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo de investigación se identifican los factores de éxito más relevantes que debe tener un Parque Natural y, posteriormente, se analiza su importancia en el Parque Natural Sierra Mágina, uno de los cuatro Parques Naturales de la provincia de Jaén y que registra unos datos de visita muy por debajo de los demás. Así, se realiza un estudio empírico basado en un cuestionario para estudiar los factores de éxito que, en este Parque, permitirán conocer su potencial y poder de desarrollo en el territorio, a través de la promoción más intensa de la actividad turística ofreciendo alternativas novedosas que no dispongan los demás Parques. Por otro lado, el desarrollo del Parque aportará liquidez económica en el Parque y en los destinos más próximos como son los pueblos de la comarca de Sierra Mágina, siendo también, generalmente, pueblos con un nivel bajo de visitas turísticas.

[EN] In this research work, we identify the main success factors that a Natural Park should have and, afterwards, we analyze their importance for the Sierra Magina Natural Park, one of the four Natural Parks existing in the province of Jaen, and that registers some visit data far below the others. Thus, we carry out an empirical study based on a questionnaire to examine the success factors that will determine the potential of this Park and its development in the territory, through an intense promotion of tourist activity by offering innovative alternatives that the other Parks do not have. On the other hand, the development of the Park will provide economic liquidity in the Park and in the closest destinations such as the towns of the Sierra Magina region, which are also generally towns with a low level of tourist visits.
