Resumen
[ES] A lo largo de la historia, el sistema económico ha estado en
constante evolución, hasta asentarse en el modelo
capitalista en el que vivimos. Se basa primordialmente en la
propiedad privada de los medios de producción y en la
trascendencia del capital como creador de beneficios. En
2010 surge un sistema alternativo al capitalismo, orientado
hacia el bien común, basado en valores como la solidaridad,
la justicia social y la sostenibilidad ambiental.
Este trabajo se centra en el estudio de la Economía del Bien
Común, detallando cómo surge y los valores que promueve
para complementar el sistema económico actual. También
se desarrolla el uso y normativa de una moneda alternativa
a la oficial, conocida como moneda regional o local.

[EN] Along the history, the economic system has been in a constant development, until it settled down into the capitalist model in which we are living nowadays. Primarily, it is based on private ownership of the means of production and the transcendentalism of capital as provider of benefits. In 2010 an alternative system to capitalism emerged, inspired by values as solidarity, social justice and environmental sustainability. Its aim was orientated to the common benefit. This work is focused on the study of Economy for the Common Good, detailing how it surged and the values that it promotes in order to complement the current economic system. In addition, it develops the use and normative of a type of coin alternative to the official one, known as regional or local currency.
