La España de Goya

Abstract

El trabajo de fin de grado trata de hacer un estudio sobre el periodo histórico y las vivencias sociopolíticas de la España que va desde finales del siglo XVIII hasta finales de los años 20 y principios de los 30 del XIX que se conoce como la famosa Década Ominosa (1823-1833). Este estudio comenzará con un análisis concreto de este periodo histórico, el cual está centrando principalmente en la caída del Antiguo Régimen, en la consiguiente Guerra de la Independencia protagonizada por la resistencia y la lucha que los españoles desempeñaron contra el invasor francés; para finalizar con el posterior retorno no sin complicaciones del absolutismo fernandino. Todo ello tomando como referencia en el trabajo la figura de un artista magistral y ejemplar como es Francisco de Goya y Lucientes; mediante el análisis y el estudio de su vida y obra. Ya que a través de su figura podemos ver todo lo acontecido en un periodo lleno de conflictos y alteraciones, los cuales el artista vivió y padeció en primera persona.

This final degree thesis pretends to do a research about the historical period and the way of living in Spain from the end of the eighteen century till the end of the 20s and the beginning of the 30s of the nineteen-century known as the famous “Ominous Decade” (1823-1833). This research will begin with a concrete analysis about this historical period, focussed mainly in the fall of the Old Regime, followed by the Independence War, featured by the opposition and the fight from Spaniards against the French invader to conclude with the return (even with troubles) of the absolutist regime of Ferdinand VII. All this taking as a reference and as an example the masterly figure of Francisco de Goya y Lucientes through the analysis and study about his life and works by which we can appreciate what happened in a historical period full of changes and conflicts that he lived and suffered in first person.
