THE ROLE OF ICT IN CLIL.VIDEO AS A DIDACTIC MATERIAL

Abstract

[ES]En los últimos años, la sociedad actual está viviendo grandes cambios debido al uso de las nuevas tecnologías. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo analizar el papel de las Nuevas Tecnologías y el Vídeo en la metodología CLIL. Múltiples beneficios derivan de esta combinación: creando un impacto positivo en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en nuestros alumnos, incrementando la motivación y transmitiendo los valores culturales.

[EN]Over the last few years, our society moves more and more in the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) direction. This dissertation focuses on the role of ICT and Video in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) settings. Many benefits are derived from this combination: creating a positive impact around this process, increasing the opportunity of exposure to cultural awareness and contributing to the development of among other aspects, communicative competence, motivation and collaborative work. Moreover, the integration of video in CLIL is analysed. Finally, a Social Science lesson is proposed for 6th level (11 years) of primary education
