“NI DE AQUÍ NI DE ALLÍ”. EL LIMBO DE LOS ESPAÑOLES EMIGRANTES EN EL SIGLO XX

Abstract

Por medio del presente estudio nos proponemos, entre otras cosas, conocer la perspectiva de los sujetos o actores sociales que se desplazaron desde España hacia centro Europa durante los años 60-70. Para el Trabajo Social es relevante la temática de la migración desde el punto de vista de los actores puesto que se apoya sobre el conocimiento de la realidad social que envuelve a los sujetos con los que pretende diseñar programas de intervención, esta aproximación ayuda a comprender las razones que pueden llevar a tomar la decisión de emigrar y contribuye al mejor conocimiento sobre la realidad de las situaciones de partida. Además, el relato de vida, una técnica cualitativa muy utilizada en investigaciones sociales, ayuda a comprender la emigración en Jaén durante el siglo XX gracias a la experiencia de una mujer que dejó la España franquista para más tarde regresar a una España diferente

The aim of this study is to know the perspective of the subjects, or social actors, who moved from Spain to the center of Europe during the 60’s and 70’s. For Social Work it is important to face the migration issue from the point of view of the actors, since it is based on the social reality which involves the subjects with whom intervention programs are designed. This approach helps to understand the reasons that lead to make a decision as important as emigration, while contributing to the better knowledge about the reality of the situations of departure, with possible negative repercussions. Also, a widely qualitative technique used in social research such life story, helps to follow the emigration in Jaén during the 20th century thanks to the experience of a woman who left the Spain of Franco to come back later to a different Spain.
