Ansiedad a las matemáticas

Abstract

(ES) La ansiedad matemática es un trastorno que ocurre con demasiada frecuencia en los niños que dedican su estudio en la asignatura de matemáticas. Surge en gran parte por la falta de confianza de estos alumnos en sí mismos a la hora de afrontar esta materia, al tal punto de afectarles en forma de nerviosismo, bloqueos o miedo, causándole un bajo rendimiento desde edades tempranas. Este tipo de ansiedad se puede derivar en otros problemas o en el día a día de los estudiantes, puede verse influenciado por la forma en la que sus maestros imparten esta materia en la escuela, las opiniones de personas externas o aquellas de los propios padres.(EN) Math anxiety is a disorder that occurs too often in children who devote their study to the subject of mathematics. It arises largely from the lack of self-confidence of these students when dealing with this subject, to the point of affecting them in the form of nervousness, blockages or fear, causing poor performance from an early age. This type of anxiety can be derived from other problems or in the day to day of the students, it can be influenced by the way in which their teachers teach this subject at school, the opinions of external people or those of the parents themselves.
