Envejecimiento de la población a nivel mundial

Abstract

El envejecimiento continuo de la población es un proceso que se da a lo largo del ciclo vital de las personas, pero que está en aumento los últimos años. Hoy en día las personas mayores son uno de los principales grupos de población que existe en el mundo, lo cual puede conllevar cambios en el resto de la población. A través de este trabajo se pretende conocer el envejecimiento demográfico que existe en todo el mundo, centrándonos en el envejecimiento de la población a nivel mundial, europeo, español, andaluz, y, finalmente, en Jaén. En este último, nos centraremos en los municipios que mayor índice de envejecimiento y mayor porcentaje de personas mayores tienen. También se tendrá en cuenta el importante y necesario papel que tienen los/as trabajadores/as sociales para promover un envejecimiento activo de la poblaciónThe continuous aging of the population is a process that occurs throughout the life cycle of people, but it is increasing in recent years. In the latter, we will focus on the municipalities with the highest rate of aging and the highest percentage of elderly people. We will also take into account the important and necessary role of social workers to promote an active aging of the population
