Educación en sostenibilidad para el turismo. Propuesta para educación primaria en la Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas.

Abstract

Para fomentar un desarrollo sostenible y una preocupación por la sostenibilidad en la ciudadanía es indispensable su concienciación. Para esto, es necesaria una acción educativa encauzada a tomar conciencia de la importancia de favorecer un consumo pro-sostenible, incluyendo el consumo turístico. Considerando la importancia del comportamiento de los turistas en favor de la sostenibilidad de los destinos, esta investigación propone la inclusión de la educación en sostenibilidad, desde edades tempranas, para trabajar los valores vinculados a la sostenibilidad de los futuros turistas. Para ello, se diseña una propuesta educativa que trabaja la sostenibilidad desde diferentes perspectivas y aplicada, en este caso de estudio, a un colegio en educación primaria, en el contexto de la Sierra de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas. Con este trabajo se defiende la necesidad de incluir en el currículo educativo, desde edades infantiles, el conocimiento de la sostenibilidad desde sus tres vertientes para favorecer que los turistas del futuro sean más pro-sostenibiles. Se pretende favorecer, entre otras cuestiones, el conocimiento de la importancia de un consumo responsable y sostenible, en este caso aplicado al turismo, a través de una serie de actividades, las cuales han sido previamente consensuadas y valoradas analizadas con monitores expertos en la materia.

To promote sustainable development and concern for sustainability among citizens, raising awareness is essential. For this, an educational action is necessary aimed at raising awareness of the importance of promoting pro-sustainable consumption, including tourist consumption. Considering the importance of tourists' behavior in favor of the sustainability of destinations, this research proposes the inclusion of sustainability education, from an early age, to work on the values linked to the sustainability of future tourists. To do this, an educational proposal is designed that works on sustainability from different perspectives and applied, in this case study, to a primary school, in the context of the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura and las Villas. This work defends the need to include in the educational curriculum, from childhood ages, the knowledge of sustainability from its three aspects to encourage the tourists of the future to be more pro-sustainable. It is intended to promote, among other issues, knowledge of the importance of responsible and sustainable consumption, in this case applied to tourism, through a series of activities, which have been previously agreed upon and evaluated, analyzed with expert monitors in the field.
