Resumen
Este proyecto representa la aplicación práctica de los conocimientos en fluidomecánica y diseño adquiridos a lo largo de los años de estudio. Su objetivo principal es identificar la idoneidad del embalse de Huesna, ubicado en Sevilla, para la generación de energía hidroeléctrica, además de su capacidad para el abastecimiento de agua y el riego. Una vez confirmada su sustentabilidad, se ha procedido a identificar el tipo de turbina más adecuado para este propósito y se ha llevado a cabo el diseño de una turbina desde cero, con el fin de maximizar su rendimiento. Para llevar a cabo este estudio, se ha recopilado información detallada de los organismos hidrográficos pertinentes y de la documentación especializada. Asimismo, se ha analizado la información hidrológica de las instituciones de medición correspondientes. Este enfoque integral ha sido fundamental para fundamentar las decisiones de diseño y garantizar la eficiencia del proyecto en su conjunto.
This project represents the practical application of the knowledge in fluid mechanics and design acquired throughout the years of study. Its main objective is to identify the suitability of the Huesna Reservoir, located in Seville, for hydroelectric power generation, as well as its capacity for water supply and irrigation. Once its sustainability was confirmed, the most appropriate type of turbine for this purpose was identified, and a turbine design was carried out from scratch to maximize its performance. To carry out this study, detailed information was collected from the relevant hydrographic agencies and specialized documentation. Hydrological information from the relevant measurement institutions was also analyzed. This comprehensive approach was essential for informing design decisions and ensuring the efficiency of the overall project.
