TRASTORNOS DE LA CONDUCTA ALIMENTARIA (TCA)

Abstract

Los trastornos de la conducta alimentaria son un problema de salud mental que se caracterizan principalmente por tener una actitud desfavorable hacia la comida y una obsesión por controlar el peso. Este trastorno está muy presente en la actualidad y afecta a gran cantidad de adolescentes y jóvenes, aunque no solo afecta a la persona, también a la familia y al entorno más cercano. Los nuevos estilos de vida, la excesiva preocupación por la imagen corporal, la publicidad, las redes sociales y los medios de comunicación influyen significativamente en la aparición de estos. Este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) trata de abordar los conceptos más importantes que influyen en esta problemática y los diferentes factores que pueden influir en la aparición del trastorno

Eating disorders are a mental health issue characterised mainly by the fact that the people who suffer from them have an unfavourable attitude towards food and an obsession with controlling their weight. This disorder is truly present nowadays and it affects a high number of teenagers and young people. Nonetheless, it affects not only the person but also the family and the people who are close to them. The new lifestyles, the excessive worry about the physical looks, publicity, social networks and the media influence significantly on the appearance of these disorders. This end-of-degree project aims to tackle the concepts that are more influential in this predicament and the different factors that can influence the appearance of the disorder
