Estudio de síntomas extrapiramidales en personas con trastornos esquizofrénicos

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo principal de este estudio es conocer si los síntomas extra-piramidales de las personas con trastornos esquizofrénicos se pueden medir a través de dibujos y no solo con textos, como se ha venido haciendo en estudios previos. Para llegar a este objetivo, los participantes tenían que escribir una escena del verano que hubiesen vivido y posteriormente dibujarla. Tras el análisis de los resultados de ambos ejercicios, se ha visto que aunque existen diferencias significativas entre los textos en el grupo control y el grupo de enfermos, las diferencias en los dibujos de ambos grupos no eran significativas. Futuros estudios en esta línea deberían enfatizar el control de algunas variables extrañas como la medicación en los pacientes.

[EN] The main objective of this study is to know if extra-pyramidal symptom in people with schizophrenic disorder can be tested with drawing as well as handwriting, like in previous studies. To reach this objective, the participants had to write a holiday’s scene that they had lived and then they had to draw it. After analyze results of both exercises, we could see that, there are significant differences between texts in control’s group and patient’s group, however the difference between drawings in both groups were not significant. Following studies in same line must emphasize control of some strange factors like the medication in patients.
