This work focuses on the new directions that classical music made after World War II (concrete, electronic and electroacoustic music) and the need to bring these styles to the high school classroom. The objective is to conduct a teaching focused on specific application, electronic and electroacoustic music with students of the first grade of secondary education, in which the creation and appreciation of sound through a participatory and cooperative methodology is intended. The findings reveal that the Contemporary Music at this stage is important because the student and the teacher are closer to the art of creating, for students to learn this type of music as well as improving skills.
