Primeros auxilios en educación primaria

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo fin de grado (TFG) es justificar la importancia de incluir la enseñanza de los Primeros Auxilios en la Educación Primaria, encontrar la mejor edad o nivel del alumnado para recibir estos contenidos como grupo diana y valorar la necesidad de formación previa del profesorado para impartir esta materia. En este trabajo se seleccionan las técnicas y habilidades principales para dar una formación completa en atención de urgencias y se incluyen en sesiones didácticas planificadas para 6º curso, de forma progresiva, dentro del currículo de la Educación Física, complementado por los temas transversales de Salud e Interdisciplinariedad con Ciencias Naturales.The aim of this paper is to justify the importance of teaching First Aid in Primary Education, to find the best age or students’ level to learn these contents as a target group and to assess the need of prior teacher training to teach this subject. Some techniques and main skills are selected in this project to give a complete training in emergency care. They are included in teaching sessions planned for 6th grade level, progressively, within the Physical Education curriculum, complemented by the cross-cutting topics of Health and interdisciplinarity with Natural Sciences.
