Resumen
El trabajo trata sobre las deficiencias relacionadas con la capacidad visual y auditiva, concretamente existe un déficit que implica a ambas modalidades sensoriales y que presenta unas características muy especiales y complejas: la sordoceguera. El objetivo del trabajo es de explicar claramente el concepto de sordoceguera, qué necesidades básicas tienen este tipo de alumnado y algunas claves para la inserción social de las personas sordociegas en el entorno que nos rodea.
Las personas sordociegas son un colectivo muy heterogéneo que necesita una intervención educativa específica, al igual que sus familias. Con este proyecto lo que se pretende es ampliar el conocimiento relacionado con la sordoceguera y revisar qué tipo de medios hay para comunicarse con dichas personas.
The work that I present is on the ficld of the deficiencies related to blindness and other types of visual impairment. There is onc in particular that shows vcry special and complex characteristics: deaf blindness. A series of points have been developed to clearly define the concept of deaf blindness, the basic needs that students with this condition require and sorne key aspects for the social insetiion of deafblind people in the social and academic environmcnt. Deafblind pcople form a very heterogeneous group that needs a specific educational intervention. as well as their famíly support. Thc main goals of this project are to cxtend the knowlcdge on deaf blindness and to learn thc means to communicate with them.
