Estudio de los macroinvertebrados acuáticos del río Valdearazo (Jaén)

Abstract

[ES] El río Valdearazo se localiza en la Sierra Sur, dentro de la provincia de Jaén (España). La finalidad de este trabajo es la determinación de la calidad ecológica de este ecosistema fluvial y el estudio de su comunidad de macroinvertebrados bentónicos. Se realizaron 3 muestreos en los meses de Octubre de 2014, Febrero y Abril de 2015, con 4 estaciones de muestreo en cada uno de ellos. Los macroinvertebrados bentónicos fueron recolectados con una red Surber, siendo posteriormente identificados con la ayuda de claves específicas. Para la estimación de la calidad ecológica del río Valdearazo se utilizó el índice ECOSTRIMED, que combina el índice IBMWP o el FBILL y el índice QBR. También se calculó el IHF. Los resultados obtenidos han mostrado la presencia de un total de 19499 individuos, distribuidos en 91 taxones, repartidos en 15 órdenes y 60 familias. Se obtuvieron calidades muy buenas de calidad ecológica para 2 de las 4 estaciones de muestreo del río Valdearazo.

[EN] The Valdearazo river is situated in the South mountain chain, within the province of Jaén (Spain). The purpose of this research is the categorization of the ecological quality of the river ecosystem and the study of the benthic macroinvertebrates community. 3 samples were collected in the months of October 2014, February and April 2015, each one with 4 different sampling stations. The benthic macroinvertebrates were obtaining with a Suber net, was later identified with the help of specific keys. The ECOSTRIMED index, which combines IBMWP index or FBILL and the QBR index, was used to estimate the ecological quality of Valdearazo river. IHF index was also calculated. The results obtained were: a total of 19499 individuals, divided among 91 taxa, distributed in 15 orders and 60 families Very good qualities of ecological quality for 2 of the 4 sampling stations were obtained Valdearazo river.
