This Master Thesis corresponding to the Master ́s Degree in Compulsory and Upper Secondary Education, Professional Training and Language Teaching, in the area of Mathematics, aims to apply the knowledge acquired during the academic year 2022/2023 for the development of a Didactic Unit about the topics of ``Limits of functions and Continuity''. In order to achieve this, three ground contextualizations have been presented in which the aforementioned topic is analyzed through a didactic, mathematical and curricular point of view. This first part of the thesis builds a basis for the second part: the design of a Didactic Unit on the notions of ``Limits and Continuity'', planned to be taught in the 1st year of Upper Secondary Education. This proposal of a unit implements different activities, resources and methodologies aiming to assist the right understanding of the contents and skills stipulated by the study program in the area of Mathematics, and also adapts to the individual demands of the students for whom is destined.
