Valorización de fibra de carbono en la industria del transporte.

Abstract

En el presente texto se analiza la tecnología de conformación de piezas mediante fibra de carbono y resinas (CFRP), sus aplicaciones actuales en la industria del transporte y otros usos, y los procesos seguidos para tratar los residuos generados. Se discuten las distintas opciones de reciclaje y valorización energética, y se trata intensivamente el proceso de reciclado por pirolisis, al considerarse de los diferentes métodos disponibles, el más completo, y aquel con más posibilidades de implantarse con éxito a escala industrial. Además, se estudian las relaciones del sector con la comunidad de Andalucía y los factores a tener en cuenta para aprovechar las oportunidades que brinda la tecnología.

In the present text, technology of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), his applications in the sector of transport and other uses are analyzed, as well as the process for treat generated waste. Different choices for recycling methods and energy valorization are discussed, and pyrolysis recycling process is treated intensively, for being considered the most complete, and the method with more possibilities of being successfully implanted at industrial scale. Furthermore, the relations of the sector with the region of Andalusia, and the factors to consider for take advantage of the opportunities offered by the technology are studied.
