(ES)El fenómeno de la globalización ha dado lugar a un aumento de la competencia en los
diferentes mercados dando lugar a continuos ajustes en los sistemas productivos a nivel
nacional, regional y local. Esta nueva realidad global ha permitido un mayor acceso a recursos
globales y una revalorización de los recursos endógenos de las regiones y ciudades.
Jaén, dado el número de hectáreas dedicadas al cultivo del olivar constituye el ejemplo más
radical de especialización productiva regional de toda la Unión Europa, , la y uno de los
territorios con mayor capacidad para consolidar sus propios sistemas productivos locales. El
objetivo principal de la presente investigación es conocer si la implementación de sellos de
calidad como las Denominaciones De Origen Protegida Sierra Mágina, Sierra de Cazorla y Sierra
de Segura repercute en el precio del aceite de oliva y en el desarrollo económico de la provincia
de Jaén.

This new global reality has allowed a greater access to global resources and a upgrade to the endogenous resources of the different regions and cities.Jaén, given the number of hectares devoted to olive cultivation groves, constitutes the most radical example of regional productive specialization in the entire European Union, and one of the territories with the greatest capacity to consolidate it own local production systems.
