[ES]El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar la composición corporal y la capacidad de fuerza explosiva de extensión de extremidades inferiores en escolares de Educación Primaria de dos centros escolares, en función del nivel socioeconómico de la zona en la que se ubica. Comparando los participantes del entorno socioeconómico medio-alto con los del entorno socioeconómico bajo. Han participado 147 estudiantes de Educación Primaria, divididos en 4 subgrupos, en función del sexo y del centro educativo. Se ha realizado la valoración de la composición corporal y la evaluación de la capacidad de fuerza explosiva de extremidades inferiores. Los chicos de entorno socioeconómico medio-alto poseen unos mejores valores de fuerza explosiva de extensión de extremidades inferiores que los chicos de un entorno socioeconómico bajo, sin embargo, en las chicas no parece haber diferencias significativas. Las diferencias en fuerza explosiva de extremidades inferiores entre chicos y chicas varían en función del entorno socioeconómico. Se observa una superioridad de los chicos en los entornos de nivel socioeconómico medio-alto sobre las chicas en todas las variables, mientras que en los entornos de nivel socioeconómico bajo son las chicas las que poseen superioridad.
[EN]The Objective was to compare body composition and capacity of explosive strength extension of lower extremities in primary schoolchildren of two schools depending on the socioeconomic status of the area in which it is located. It has been compared participants who go at center located in an upper-middle socioeconomic environment with the participants who go at center located in a low socioeconomic environment. This study involved 147 students of primary education, divided into 4 subgroups according to sex and school. It has made the assessment of body composition and evaluation of the capacity of explosive strength of lower limbs. The boys who go at center of located in a medium-high socioeconomic environment have some better values explosive strength of lower limbs extension than the boys who go at center located low socio-economic environment, however, in the girls did not seem to be significant differences. The differences in the explosive strength of lower limbs between boys and girls vary depending on the socioeconomic environment. The boys, in environments with medium-high socioeconomic status, are better than girls in all strength variables observed while in environments of low socioeconomic status are the girls who possess superiority.
