[EN]The aim of this paper is to provide a general view on the new family models, especially on homo and divorced families, in children's narrative. It is a quite well known fact that the traditional family structure has experienced critical changes in the last decades. Although there are some studies on these issues, as well as a large amount of children's literature on these topics, we are really far from overcoming situations of discrimination and taboo around these problems in education. These pages seek to contribute to a better understanding of the problem in order to demostrate the necessity to use the resources available for the classroom and families. In brief, this paper will seek to establish some basic assumptions about the following questions: what is the current situation regarding the new models in the Spanish families; what topics and resources can be seen in the recent children's fiction?, and finally, how are these conflicts and received his fictional story by readers?
