[ES]El objetivo principal de este proyecto es explicar y aclarar el concepto de gamificación desde un punto de vista teórico, así como probar que su uso en la clase de inglés es una buena forma de motivar al alumnado y animarlos a aprender. Para ello, el trabajo está dividido en dos partes principales. La primera corresponde al marco teórico, en el que la gamificación será explicada y analizada en detalle. La segunda parte incluirá la parte más práctica, que se desarrollará en forma de unidad didáctica. Dicha unidad tendrá la gamificación como hilo conductor con la intención de demostrar su validez en la enseñanza
[EN]The main purpose of this project is to explain and clarify what gamification is from a theoretical point of view, as well as to prove that its use in the English classroom is a great way to motivate students and encourage them to learn. To this effect, the project has been divided into two main sections. The first one corresponds to the theoretical framework, in which the concept of gamification will be explained in detail and analyzed. The second section includes a practical approach in which a lesson plan will be developed. This didactic unit will have gamification as the unifying thread with the intention of demonstrating the validity of this methodology in the English classroom.
